Well, Andrew is officially 29 yrs. old ! We stayed at the hospital most of the day yesterday, but really no news. The CT came back showing really no abnormalities (other than problems that already exist), his blood pressure is looking better, and his sodium is slowly climbing back up. Andrew tried to open his eyes last night and tears began to run down his cheeks, we believe he is scared. Lee tried to reassure him that everything was alright and his tougue was looking better (very swollen from the bite). Andrew seemed aggitated and Lee asked him what or who he wanted?? He named a few names and then said David and Andrew actually blinked a few times!! Wes (Andrew best friend) ran out in the hallway where we were and told David to get in there...."Andrew wants YOU!" You should have seen the look on David's face~priceless! David ran in there and told him he was right there with him and was not leaving (he spent the night last night in ICU with him). We were all thrilled that there was a little response from Andrew. The rest of the night we kept singing Happy Birthday to him, telling him about the "Hotty" nurses (which he would be thrilled about), and trying to encourage him. He didn't respond anymore, but we do believe he can hear us!
My sweet Mom came in yesterday to help us with Bryant and Mary Grace. I'll be heading to the hospital in about 30 min, so I'll update later when we hear more news.
We know that prayers are being heard and God is right here with us! Thank you all....

Stacy I have never had the pleasure of meeting Andrew but Jeanine has told me about him and the special bond he has with David. You are all in my prayers and I sincerely pray that David will take special comfort from knowing that Andrew wanted him near when he is scared. That is when we want the person most precious to us right there. May God's blessing be with you all during this trying time, and may David have a special blessing from his lifetime of being such a good brother!
