First Camping Trip
Airstream Easter
below....'roughing' it while camping....note MSU on the flatscreen!
So we bit the bullet and bought an Airstream! David has been wanting to do it for years now and if you know David at all you know he had to shop around for what seemed like forever, then finally found the one he wanted! I told him I would go, but just not far the first time....so we tried out Yogi Bear and had a blast! Some precious friends joined us and the kids had a ball. Within 5 min. of being on the grounds, Bryant and Max had found some friends (2 girls) and took off on their bikes. We were so impressed with this place that we have already booked 2 more weekends. They have 'themed' weekend events for the children, putt putt golf, great playground area, water park, pool, fishing lake, bike trails, hay rides, 'raise the flag pole' with Yogi every morning, craft time, AND an outdoor movie on Friday & Saturday nights! Needless to say, we had a ball!
Here are some of the kiddos after the Easter Egg hunt they had for them at Yogi .

Spring Break '08
Spring Break '08 ~ lots of fun with picnics, playing at the park, eating snow cones, and taking a trip to the zoo. Here are a few of our pics from yesterday at the zoo. We went with Suzanne & Renee and all kids seemed to have had a blast.

Spunky little 2 year old
So, last night (still struggling about how to tackle this little issue) I laid down with my children for 'devo' time and guess what? God gave me clarity and direction while I was supposed to be teaching my kiddos, God was using the opportunity to teach me a thing or two! From Galatians 5:22-23, the fruits of the spirit. Our pastor Chip preached a wonderful sermon on this Sunday and as Bryant was reciting the fruits to me, it hit me ~~ self-control! That's it! Mary Grace needed to learn self control! I want her to imitate Christ, even as a 2 year old. Now, how do I teach my spunky little 2 year old self control.....?
Wonderful Moms out there...help!
This may be an on-going project for a long time to come! But God has made such a special little girl and I know "He who began a good work in her, will see it to the end"....

Happy Birthday Bryant
What a special day it has been! He has milked it for all it is worth, too....I need to sleep with ya'll b/c it's MY birthday, I need to sit there b/c it's MY birthday, I want to go get chicken 'n biscuit b/c it's MY birthday, I get to stay up late b/c it's MY birthday!! Too Funny!
I know many parents think their kid is great, but I have to say, this morning as I was praising God for this little boy (that I had prayed for, for SO LONG), I was so overwhelmed with how thankful I am for his CREATOR, and it's not me! God made such a special little man, one who has a heart of gold, LOVES his Daddy, protects his little sister, still cuddles with his Momma ( and tells me he loves me 30 times a day, at least), is teased by Savannah Jory, is smart as a whip, loves baseball & riding his bike, and one who is beginning to love the Lord and diving into His word every night. As I watch Bryant grow, my heart is so full! I am so proud of who he is becoming as a young man. Some little girl out there is going to be so blessed to have him one day! He is so special!!
Thank you God for Bryant Seago!
We were supposed to have a swimming/Star Wars theme (which he fell in love with at Disney World) birthday party at Momese (David's mom)'s house. Instead, a winter storm hit last night with snow and sleet, so we had to make an alternate plan. Rosemary and I came up with lots of games and prizes for the kids! We even had Star Wars music in the background. The games were played in the playroom upstairs, then we all headed downstairs for pizza. Bryant blew out his candles, then many of them dove into the "heated" hot tub. We then made smores by the fire pit.
What a full day....but oh, so fun! Bryant looked at me during the party and said, "Momma, this is the best party...ALL my friends are here!!" He had a blast !
A special thanks to Savannah and GiGi who drove in for the day just for Bryant Seago ~ she says he's handsome - even with the mask on! (thanks Nea Nea, he absolutely loves it!!)

Race in Seaside
We just returned from the beautiful Seaside, Florida where us and a few friends (26 to be exact from our area) ran in the half-marathon. I don't have pictures from the race yet, but when I get them, I'll post them. It was much warmer - @80 degrees, than we were used to (40's). My running partner never left me~ what a precious friend Christy Burchfield is in my life! Total God sent!! I began telling her at mile 7 that I felt nauseated, but we kept on truckn' it with around a 9 min. and under pace. Then at mile 10, my knees buckled and I felt faint, but was determined NOT to quit! I began praying - big time. The heat was knocking me off my feet! At mile 11-12, I knew if my legs stopped moving I would pass out and hit the concrete, the thoughts of my children kept coming to my mind and I thought I have to get to the finish line!! I began praying that God would get me there...preferably safely! So I get about 200 yards from the finish line, (which I don't remember the last mile or so - pretty much a blur) and Leah Cox, from here, sees me and says "STacy's in trouble!" SHe said I was pale and looked disoriented. She and another guy from Pinelake ran out to grab me and help me over the finish line. Needless to say, I collapsed right over the finish line as my chip beeped! I was rushed to the Medical Tent....made a huge scene....but recovered and made it through!! Wow, what a trip that was! We did our best time so far in little over 2 hours.
God is so faithful and here below are some pics from the weekend and the cute little house where we stayed (for free) and riding bikes all over Seaside.
"What doesn't kill you, will make you stronger!" ~or so they say!!!!
