Praise our creator for a great day. Andrew has had incredible improvement over the last 24 hours and to God be the glory. He is really beginning to respond to us and able to follow some simple commands.
His doctors are very optimistic at this point and feel he should have a complete recovery. I can't begin to express the blessing Andrew's medical team has been to him. From the doctors to the wonderful nursing staff in the ICU, they have been awesome. Thank you.
It has been such a blessing to see my family "circle the wagons" and get through this. As I talked about the other day and seeking to "find joy", I think I found it. It brings me joy to see the love our family shares with one another and with Andrew. He is such an important part of all our lives and our love for him has brought us closer as a family. From seeing Paul and Lee taking care of his every need, my aunts and uncles driving down and sitting with my parents for hours, Andrew's friends coming to see him(Wes Slay drove 9 hours). We get to see a glimpse of Andrew's impact on this world.
Thanks to everyone for all your prayers, and keep them coming. Great strides have been made but we still have a ways to go.
