Blessings

"My Cup Overflows with Blessings...." Psalm 23:5

Wow, have you ever just stood in amazement of God's blessings on your life? Have you ever just stopped in our busy lives to hear our Heavenly Father say ..."Be Still and Know that I am God!" I sit in amazement of him today...of the miracles of his fingerprints on my life and the promise of my future with Him. Unworthy, yes, but oh so thankful that He loves me! My cup overflows with blessings....and here are just a few:
The love my Heavenly Father gives me
The grace and mercy I receive from Him
my wonderful/loving husband, David
my beautiful children: Bryant and Mary Grace
Pinelake: mychurch home
my wonderful parents
my sister/best friend
my precious friends: far and near
my extended family
my neighborhood
our home/Our haven
our health
being able to stay home

My list could go on and on....

Thank you Father for loving me even in my Yuk! May my life glorify you!

I just felt the need to say: "How full is your cup?"

These are a few pictures from our trip to Memphis to see the Lion King. We stopped off in New Albany to get my parents and spend Friday night, then we headed to Memphis Saturday morning. We met up with Aunt Gina, Uncle Lee, and Anna Claire. The kids loved every minute of it!!! We were shocked with Mary Grace, the child who doesn't watch a lick of TV~she danced, clapped, and laughed the whole time. Bryant was wide eyed in David's lap and he loved Timone & Poomba (sp?). It was a blast to see it through their eyes. We ate at the Rendezvous afterwards~Yummy!

Back to the Swing of things

I'm Back.....Between finishing up on my Beth Moore Bible Study ~Breaking Free~ and starting a new one on Tuesday mornings~Precepts, by Kay Arthur~ I haven't had much blogging time. I doubled up for 2 weeks and I really don't recommend that! August has been great fun and I have posted lots of pics to show you what all we've been up to....
(I woke up early and had some time, so here we go.....)

Guess who dropped their Pacifer???? Oh, Yes, little Miss Priss! She dropped the habit, but has picked up others, like "playing dress-up" with Mommy's jewelry! Daddy got her in the act and couldn't resist getting it on camera! She put everyone of those necklaces on BY HER SELF! David's comment was,"Oh, we are IN TROUBLE!" Dropping the pacifer was a piece of cake...we couldn't believe it. I just woke up last Thursday and said, Today is the Day! and we never looked back. She never once cried for it, naptime or bedtime...crazy, I know! We are very proud of her. She has also started practicing sitting on the potty....she loves that! She is soooo fun!
Oh, almost forgot, the top picture shows her BoBo...she fell outside and her bottem teeth went thru her lip. No stiches needed, just lots of love.

We celebrated my Dad's birthday last weekend. Bryant and I made the cake and my sister decorated it. The babies were soooo excited to see the Boppie and Papa!

Bryant and Baby Parker
Mary Grace seems to think that Mom is HER Boppie! She just loves my mother to death and even when Mom was putting Parker to bed, MG would sneak up the stairs to HER Boppie and call to her. She is definately her sidekick!

As many of you know, I have been wanting to put pictures of in my hallway for 2 years, but just didn't have the right photos, well we took family pictures this summer and I bought these great frames from Demetria in Madison, MS(http://www.plainjaneframes.blogspot.com/). I love them all! It was hard to get a good pic of them due to the hallway, but I tried.

Bryant also got new bunk beds and I switch his room to the guest room, we call Boppie's room, b/c it's larger. The closests were definately a task, but I am very pleased with the outcome. Pictures to come on that.....when it get completed. Also our bed room has been redone, so I'll post pics soon of that also. We are off to Memphis this weekend to see the Lion King at the Orpheum tomorrow! I am soooo excited for the kiddos to see it! I don't know who's more excited!

Bryant's first day of K4

Here we are~~Bryant's first day of K4 at Pinelake Christian School. We were able to get the play by play via photos thanks to Nea Nea....it was pretty funny. Bryant is definately my timid child, until he gets warmed up and feels comfortable. I have begun praying that God gives him confidence and bravery. He is such a precious child with the most precious voice. I feel so blessed to be called his mother.

Here we are at his door...Mrs. Sandy comes out to meet us. Notice the head down....a little timid at this moment! No real sure about things~but I am hopeful that he will go in and find his cubby and find a familiar face.

Precious hug from my precious son....all is going okay up until this point, but I think he didn't want to let go once he got a hold !
Can you see the leg grip??? He almost pulled my shorts down! He wasn't about to go into that room until I dragged him in. I had to literally pull him to his cubby and "talk" to him....This is when I had to break it down for him~ Be a BIG BOY and go find a table to play! (And I may have promised him a little treat for lunch) Well, he found a table (where no one else was!) and began putting a puzzle together. WHEW......that wore me out! He did it...unwillingly at first, but he was fine. When David called to check on how things went...he said, "Man, he is So My Child!"
He came out to my car at carpool with a huge grin on his face. Mrs. Sandy let him in and said how wonderful he was! When I asked about his day, he said "Good". Then after much prying, he told me the important stuff like what he played on the playground, seeing Mary Bratton & Ethan, and singing Hokey Pokey at Music. Oh, and that he got a sucker b/c he was "SO SWEET"!

That little boy, wow, do I love him!!!

Happy Birthday Dave!

Happy Birthday to my Man!!! Yesterday was Dave's birthday and I am tempted to write 100 things about how wonderful he is, but as soon as I would get to 30....a little one in my house would wake up and need me. So, I'll just say he is the BEST husband, the BEST friend, the BEST father, the BEST Spiritual Leader in our home, the BEST Man I know!!! I praise God for him Daily and I know how blessed I am because of him. He is my Prince and my Knight in shining armour! It is rare when you find this kind of love and I just pray it for our children! Thank you God for my Man!

Beach

We went to the beach for a few days to get away one last time before school starts for Bryant next Friday(ughhhhh). We had a great time with Pete, Gina, Savannah, & Luke. We all felt as though we had 2 sets of twins. They loved playing together or in the case of the little ones ~ Mary Grace loved huggin on Luke. He wasn't too sure of her though. (little body...lots of personality!) We celebrated birthdays while we were down there and even had a shark cake.
