New Bloggers

Okay I just have to give a shout out to some new bloggers. My sister, Alison has now joined the bloggin' world!! I am so excited that I can now check on Parker,(my nephew) all the time and watch him grow. I am also thrilled to see some good ole Texas friends joining in....Flemmons, Burtons, and Greers (even though they are Jackson friends as well...our bond began in Texas). Plus a sweet friend from church started one~ Melinda Courtney. No matter what stage of life you are in, it is always a joy to read others' blogs!

Tri4God

How much do you think this little guy loves his Daddy???? Can you guess?
How much do you think this little girl loves this little boy?? Can you guess again? (Mary Grace loves rubbin' on Beau's head!)
The Daddies and their Boys!
Dave's Dawgs

MY MAN : The Triathlon! David competed in the Tri4God on Saturday in Madison. I just have to brag on him and say he did really, really good! I'm very proud of him! He has worked so hard and it paid off. Here are some pics of him with the kiddos and Tal after the race.

Our pastor Michael Jordan

I just had to show you all our pastor...Dr. Chip Henderson, aka Michael Jordan! This was one of our VBS competitions on Friday : the best dunk and guess who won?? Yes, of course the preacher man did! Pretty amazing, huh? If you look closely you can see me sitting on the basketball goal in my white jersey in order to keep it from falling forward, since we just rolled it in from the gym. Real safe, I know!

Pinelake VBS

This is Bryant in his VBS class...note the girl he is sittin' with. I think he was smittin' for her.
Today was our last day and we have had competitions all week with our ministerial staff with the most $ in their buckets for our mission offering. The top winners formed two teams today and played tug of war over a pool of jello ~ yes, in the church! ANd yes, we covered the floor with protection.
THis is our stage...we had a giant blow up helmet with fog coming out everyday. The kids loved it.

Best Daddy Ever

This is the best Father in the World...voted by Bryant & Mary Grace Seago! Wow do they love their Daddy!! He is such a great Man of God and loves his family. How blessed my children are to have such an outstanding Daddy!

Father's DAy Weekend

For Father's Day we went to Lake TiaKhata with some friends. It was very relaxing considering there were nine children among us. The kids had a blast and we surprised the Daddys with a cookie cake..tooth on it for David (see pic). Mary Grace was obssessed with Brelye Boyd......I think she would have tried to eat her is she could have.

Destin

BAck to the Bloggn' World. After being in Oxford with my Dad (who by the way is doing great) for a week, returning for 24 HOURS, then heading to Destin for 6 days, I am a little behind since I haven't had a computer with me. The whole Seago clan headed to Destin for the Annual Dental Convention this past week. We shared a room with David's brother, Lee and his family. It was a blast! Here are the highlights of the week. (Father's DAy camping trip & VBS coming soon.....)
Fun in Destin ...................... Dinner with friends
Big ole' juicy burger at Johnny Rockets
Choo Choo train ride at the Commons
watchn' Jumby search for shells during a thunderstorm (gear in tact!)

OKay, so anyone see the resemblance?? Everywhere we went people thought Mary Grace was Lee's child. We had to correct probably about 3-5 per day. Even the camera lady tried to put me, Lee, and Mary Grace in a "family picture". I think it's the cheeks!

We found this lady from Baytown Wharf to take our pictures on the beach. They turned out great! I grabbed my camera while we
were waiting and this was a great time of night (6:45 sunset). The boys were playing football and all the girls wanted to do was cheer !

If you go to Big Kahuna's...this is the way to go~~~~ Get a Cabana! It was a great homebase! What a good Daddy - holdn his sweet little girl while she napped! While Bryant, Timothy, KaKa, Gina, and I took off and hit as many slides as we could!

Bryant had a BLAST in Destin. Wow, he has really become a fish.......swimming totally by himself, under the water and on top dogpaddling. He learned the breast stroke just a few weeks ago and we can't stop him! He is swimming the whole length of the poo. He loves to jump in the deep water and dive to get his sticks. I'm so proud of him!

Uncle "Wee", aka Lee, thought it was time MAry Grace had her toenails painted and he did the honors the first time ever for her! He has a little girl who is 4yrs. old, Anna Claire, so he is 'very' experienced at it! They both were concentrating soooo hard!
MG was so PROUD of her toes! She showed everyone who would look!

How Unworthy

How unworthy I feel to have such precious people in my life! Words cannot even begin to describe my heart at this very moment. Thank you ALL so much for thinking of my Daddy and lifting him up to our precious Heavenly Father, who is sooooo faithful! At this moment, we are hoping he will get moved to a reg. room soon. He is doing as well as to be expected, but still in ICU. Before the kids and I left, my Dad said he really wanted to see Bryant, but they are pretty strict about the "12 yrs. old" rule. His face fell to gloom and then the nurse said, "I have an idea!" See these windows....(behind his bed), if you go out the front door and take a right and go all the way around until you see the ER, you will see a semicircle of windows. We will place a cup in his, so you'll know which one is HIS!" So, Mom and I told them a time and we went to get Bryant. The nurse closed the door & curtain to his ICU room, so no one could see......and what do you know.....It worked! The precious nurse twisted my Dad's bed around enough to see Bryant in the window and HUGE smiles crossed both of their faces! They made the "I love you" sign in sign language, then the nurse (who was overwhelmed with tears), opened the window just a tad, and Bryant told his Papa..."I'm going to give you a knuckle sandwich when you get home!" (They always say that to each other!!) My dad started smiling and opened his arms up as far as he could and said...."I love you THISSSSSSSSS much!!". And sweet Bryant replied..."I love you ALOT too Papa!" Too Sweet! And such a blessing from God before we left!

I am so thankful my sister is staying there to help my Mom until Dad goes home from the hospital. We are trying to encourage MOm to get her rest! She refuses to leave that ICU waiting area. What a blessing she is!!
My mother is such a gem and everyone in the ICU waiting area to already attest to that. She has listened to more hearts of sorrow, sadness, and grief and she has offered them such Hope! She is such a light wherever she goes and God just shines through her. Her spirit is truly amazing and ALWAYS uplifting! She called us every day to ask us to bring an extra sandwich for her "new" friend. Everytime she goes in to see my Daddy, he holds her hand as though never to let go! He knows how precious she is too!
Thank you all for your sweet words. I feel so unworthy to have such precious people in my life. You all are angels He has sent directly!

Update: Stacy's Dad

Wanted to let everyone know that Stacy's dad did well yesterday and is having an uneventful recovery to this point. He is in very much pain but doing well otherwise. Please forgive us if we haven't talked to you about him and THANK YOU so very much for your prayers yesterday.

Stacy, her mom and sister are all doing well and are ready for Jerry to get out of the ICU. We are hoping that maybe he will get out tomorrow or Thursday.

Please continue to pray for him and a speedy recovery, praise our Father for his providence in a successful surgery. Pray for Stacy as she tries to be a mother to her children, a sister, a daughter and granddaughter and still assimilate this surgery. She is doing great but could use some special prayers right now. Thanks again for everything. Love ya'll.

My Dad

If you would all pray for my father in the morning at 8:30am....he will be having major surgery to repair his aorta aneurism. My sister and I are heading up to Oxford today with all the kiddos to get settled in to our "home" for the week. David's aunt and uncle are letting us stay in their condo there and we will call it home for the week. (you should see my car!) We will meet up with Mom and Dad later this afternoon and hopefully have a nice night altogether before surgery in the morning. PLease pray that everything goes smoothly and peace for everyone. My mother is such a strong woman of God and I pray that she will know when she needs a break and let us help her. Thank you all.....

~My Dad's name is Jerry Harmon...in case you are like precious Sue Weimer and wanted to call him by name to our Heavenly Father.
