My Dad

If you would all pray for my father in the morning at 8:30am....he will be having major surgery to repair his aorta aneurism. My sister and I are heading up to Oxford today with all the kiddos to get settled in to our "home" for the week. David's aunt and uncle are letting us stay in their condo there and we will call it home for the week. (you should see my car!) We will meet up with Mom and Dad later this afternoon and hopefully have a nice night altogether before surgery in the morning. PLease pray that everything goes smoothly and peace for everyone. My mother is such a strong woman of God and I pray that she will know when she needs a break and let us help her. Thank you all.....

~My Dad's name is Jerry Harmon...in case you are like precious Sue Weimer and wanted to call him by name to our Heavenly Father.

Praying for you all and lifting up your Dad by name, sweet friend! Let us know how the surgery goes when you can, and please give your precious mom a big hug from me. I know the Lord will carry you all through this in HIS STRENGTH. He is so good, so faithful.
I love you!

Stacy - You are all in my heart and first in my prayers. Mary Bratton and I prayed for your daddy in our prayers earlier tonight and she wanted to know if Dr. David was doing the surgery. I am praying for all of you. I know that you and Alison were a comfort to him tonight! Love you so much!!! Peace to all of you!

We have certainly been praying for him and will continue to pray for all of you. I'm sure your parents are comforted having their girls and their Lord by their side. Love to you all!

We are praying for your sweet Daddy today. I know that your heart went with him into his surgery and many many prayers from friends and family followed. I know that the Lord was right there in the OR with your Daddy and that He was guiding each and every movement of the surgeon's hands. How wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician! Please update us when you can.
