How Unworthy

How unworthy I feel to have such precious people in my life! Words cannot even begin to describe my heart at this very moment. Thank you ALL so much for thinking of my Daddy and lifting him up to our precious Heavenly Father, who is sooooo faithful! At this moment, we are hoping he will get moved to a reg. room soon. He is doing as well as to be expected, but still in ICU. Before the kids and I left, my Dad said he really wanted to see Bryant, but they are pretty strict about the "12 yrs. old" rule. His face fell to gloom and then the nurse said, "I have an idea!" See these windows....(behind his bed), if you go out the front door and take a right and go all the way around until you see the ER, you will see a semicircle of windows. We will place a cup in his, so you'll know which one is HIS!" So, Mom and I told them a time and we went to get Bryant. The nurse closed the door & curtain to his ICU room, so no one could see......and what do you know.....It worked! The precious nurse twisted my Dad's bed around enough to see Bryant in the window and HUGE smiles crossed both of their faces! They made the "I love you" sign in sign language, then the nurse (who was overwhelmed with tears), opened the window just a tad, and Bryant told his Papa..."I'm going to give you a knuckle sandwich when you get home!" (They always say that to each other!!) My dad started smiling and opened his arms up as far as he could and said...."I love you THISSSSSSSSS much!!". And sweet Bryant replied..."I love you ALOT too Papa!" Too Sweet! And such a blessing from God before we left!

I am so thankful my sister is staying there to help my Mom until Dad goes home from the hospital. We are trying to encourage MOm to get her rest! She refuses to leave that ICU waiting area. What a blessing she is!!
My mother is such a gem and everyone in the ICU waiting area to already attest to that. She has listened to more hearts of sorrow, sadness, and grief and she has offered them such Hope! She is such a light wherever she goes and God just shines through her. Her spirit is truly amazing and ALWAYS uplifting! She called us every day to ask us to bring an extra sandwich for her "new" friend. Everytime she goes in to see my Daddy, he holds her hand as though never to let go! He knows how precious she is too!
Thank you all for your sweet words. I feel so unworthy to have such precious people in my life. You all are angels He has sent directly!
