Potty

I just had to post this picture Christy took at the pool of Mary Grace, my little angel.   I'm so proud of her!  She is totally potty trained, after many months of me putting it off.  I just haven't encouraged her, nor has she asked.  I didn't mind changing the diapers....she is the baby of the family!  And I didn't need bragging rights, as I felt with Bryant (a little anal I was I'll say....turned 2 ~ potty time!!).  With Mary Grace, she just loves life and every day is a day at Disney World for this child.  She has such a sweet spirit.  God has blessed this child with such JOY.  I just didn't want her to wear panties, I felt as though she'd seem too grown!   Crazy, I know.  So in the last week, I decided to try it with her and low and behold she WAS ready!   She loves wearing her princess panties and she loves some positive reinforcement(singing, dancing, clapping, etc).  She even told the greeter at Walmart today that she is "pooping in the potty".
(She's still in her baby bed, but we'll not push that yet though)

How wonderful a momma to let it come naturally and not be worried about how it "should" be done! Life is too short to be stressing about stuff like that... Love ya!

I agree the picture is exquisite. How are you going to spend your diaper money? I'm looking forward to having a little extra a month when Jane is potty-trained.

She is precious! So what you're telling me is that I have about 4 months before I have to get ready for this with Kate????

Just wait until you have to tell her about the "female" stuff!! At age 9, we've had to do that already cause she has 2 friends that have already "started!!!!" They grow up WAY too fast these days!!!

YEAH Mary Grace!! I really don't mind the diapers either and I know that sounds crazy, but I am so glad I'm not the only one that wants to keep my baby a baby as long as I can!
