The mother of all "after parties......"

I got back from Mexico the other day and wanted to share with anyone who frequents this site about some of what God has done and is doing in this part of the world(Hidalgo, Mexico).

Over 400 people came to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God was at work amongst these people and is blessing the efforts of Pastor Geronimo and his church as they spread the gospel to their neighbors. God did not need us to reach these people, but I am still in awe that he allows us to rejoice and be a part of His plan to reach all peoples and all nations.

Guys, God is real and He is alive. Don't forget it. It is sad that we have to go across the world to see it, but I have seen him at work and I will never be the same. I don't want to be the same, and neither should anyone who knows Jesus as Lord. He wants to transform us into "new creations" that leave the old ways behind. It begins with a simple a prayer "Give us eyes to see and ears to hear", God is at work all around we just need to ask the Holy Spirit to show us.

So what about this after party? Well I heard a sermon on the way home by Louis Giglio and he was talking about the party that will happen in heaven when Jesus returns and we all are celebrating with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that we may have shared with or led to salvation and what a day that will be. How sad would it be to not have someone to celebrate with? God Bless.

Amazing!! You are right God IS alive and working and sometimes we get so caught up in our own life to take to time to step back and see His miracles! I am so excited that He was able to use you in such an unbelievable way! Praise the Lord!!

Thank you for sharing some of your experiences from your trip to Mexico. We overlook so many of God's amazing miracles everyday. Thank you for reminding us to open our eyes and see HIM.

John can't wait to go back. Maybe we can both go and be the "nurses"!
