This was the shower I helped give her. The theme was "construction" for many reason...first, they lost EVERYTHING during Katrina...house and ALL, so we put on the invitations (made by Renee at Baby Face Design)..."the 9 month construction is almost complete" with a cute dump truck on it. They just moved into a new home so this applies to a new beginning with a new home AND baby. You have to check out the cake...it is pretty unbelievable. A pastry chef on the coast made it for her and it took him a week!! It is 3-dimensional and made with mostly chocalate and the sheet cake rests on the bed of the dump truck. We placed a 'real' dump truck on the food table full of flowers. We went with primary colors and used Rosemary's tubes for the tables. 85 people came to this one and it turned out great. Even her best friend from college drove in...such a treat!!!

Oh how fun! She has waited so long for all this "showering" to finally be for HER! She looks wonderful, and the decorations are so fun. Baby boy stuff is a blast!
