MSU game

We took a little trip over to MSU (Stark-vegas, I like to call it, since I went to Ole Miss, but TOTALLY support my man by cheering on the Bulldogs!) last weekend. We say a great baseball game our kiddos were such HAMS! Mary Grace was on the Big Screen with the caption..."What a Cutie!" as she waved to EVERYONE!! She is quit the extravert! Bryant loved cheering for the bulldogs and eatin' some good ole game dogs and peanuts!
Such a fun family day!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

This is Bryant's St. Patrick's Day Parade at school last week. All the children in K3 decorated their riding toys and threw candy to all the classes K4-6th grade. It was soooo fun!

Here he is with his buddies, Tyler and Ethan, in their classroom after the parade. They were ready for their party!

Just couldn't stay away

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week, but I just couldn't stay away from my little nephew and my kiddos and I have been in Biloxi since Monday. They couldn't keep their little hands off of him either....they love him soooo much. When we first got there, Mary Grace started pushing Bryant out of the way (literally) so she could be closer to "Baby!". They both wanted to hold him whenever he wasn't eating. They would literally wake up and B-line it straight to him. He is such a sweet baby and never seemed to mind ALL the attention. I think I may have heard him cry ONE time while we were there! These are some sweet pics we took!

Meet Parker Graham Felsher

Is this not the most precious sight? (He loves to such his fingers) To read the full story.....read below.

Precious Parker

Precious Parker Arrives!!!!

Introducing Parker Graham Felsher! Wow, what a night! His journey began around 6pm last night (Monday) when he decided to let his mommy know that he was READY...forget that Wednesday induction stuff! My sister could not get a hold of her husband (who was at a Haley Barber fundraiser), so at 7pm she realized Parker would not wait for his Daddy, so she called a friend and they headed to the hospital. The nurses checked her and to everyone's surprise she was dialated to 7-8 cm! (first baby keep in mind and 38 1/2 wks) My parents and myself hit the road down to Biloxi, and John, her husband, was hunted down! Text messages were being sent like crazy and phone calls were being made, but most of all PRAYERS were being lifted up!! She received her epidural at 9cm dialated, then at 10:12pm, Parker Graham Felsher entered the world via c-section and both Mommy and Precious were doing great! I arrived at 10:40pm to locked doors and only the 'cooky' ER to enter and running frantically around the hospital to find my sister. I finally stumbled upon some familiar faces that shouted...."Mommy this way.....Baby that way!" I had to choose which way to go and who to see first! I had to see my sister! I ran as fast as I could and she had just been sewn up and taken to recovery and I was able to be with her!! When I entered her 'cubby' tears began to flow from both sisters!!! I stayed for a few minutes as she gave me the 'low down' then I heard laughter in the hallway, saying "Does she know that the BABY is here?? Doesn't she want to see the baby?" And then someone said, "I guess that's just that sister bond." I, then, went to see such a precious sight....John and baby Parker in the nursery! Oh, how beautiful Parker is!! I just love this little guy already!! God is soooo good and his timing WAS just perfect! My parents arrived at 1:30am this morning from New Albany and couldn't head to my sister's house until they 'got their hands on him'. I was so excited to stay with Alison & Parker last night in the hospital. (I told John to go home & get some sleep) What a blessing it was to be able to share in her joy!!! I am so proud of her and how "smooth" she handled everything! She is such a trooper! I love you sister!!

Blessed Beyond Measure

Well, we had no children over the weekend and what a great time we had....we spent most of our time at the Gateway Rescue Mission in downtown Jackson. David gave his testimony Thursday night and my spirit was truly moved as a man played "Jesus loves me" on his guitar....so simple, so beautiful. We couldn't stay away after that. This place serves the homeless on Jackson by ministering to them and sharing God's love. Once they receive Christ, they become a 'student' and are able to stay for 5 months in their program...with counselors, AA meetings, preachers, etc. Needless to say our weekend was blessed beyond measures and we had an awesome sermon yesterday from Chip about 'Strongholds' in our life. Wow...it was some powerful stuff! You can download it if you missed it! (Pinelake.org)

Please keep my sister, Alison, in prayer on Wednesday! She goes in at 5 am to be induced with Baby Parker!!! We are sooooooo excited and can't wait to meet him! I will post pictures of him asap!

Board Results Are In

WOW....God is Good! We just got David's Board Results and.....He Passed! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of him and I can't stop shouting and hugging him. Typical David is being very humble and quiet about it. I truly believe that God honored his hard work and perseverence! I also believe that he heard the many, many prayers that were lifted up on his behalf . Thank you all soooo much! What a huge relief this is! Most people do not pass the first time and the stress is dragged on year after year while they continue to study. I praise God for David and his dedication!!

Walk Down Memory Lane

I just had to take a walk down memory lane....Bryant' 1st birthday at home with friends (he was real thrilled with the hat, can't you tell?), Bryant's 2nd birthday at La King's Ice Cream on the strand in Galveston and a ride on the trolley with friends, the 3rd birthday with 'Crazy' Dr. Juggles in the back yard, and the 4th one at Deep South Cheer.

Georgia Aquarium

While in Atlanta this weekend, we took the kiddos to the Georgia Aquarium....Unbelievable!!! It was fantastic! For those of you who have not been, you have GOT TO GO!! We could have stayed in there for hours....there were 4 Beluga Whales, pengiuns, otters, sharks, jellyfish, etc. and so many hands-on activities for the children. We were told to purchase our tickets far in advance (we got them in January) and it was packed! Totally worth a weekend trip to Atlanta just to go see the Whales!  Posted by Picasa

Party Party Party

Here are some more pics from Bryant's party. There were about 35 kids there and many, many adults and babies. Our precious friends, Pete, GiGi, Savannah, and Luke, came in from Baton Rouge. They always sleep together and Bryant "protects" here wherever they go! He is pretty smitten with her....she was his first friend and was there when he was born! More pics from Atlanta to come.

Happy 4th Birthday Bryant

Bryant turned FOUR years old on Thursday, while we were in Atlanta. We had his party the Friday before at a place called "Deep South Cheer". There were lots of sweet friends there and family galore! How blessed our little man is! The theme was Cars and this was the cake I ordered for him...made by Joanna Magee. It not only looked pretty cool, but it tasted unbelievable also!
Here we are in our Hotel on Thursday, his actual birthday (I feel like we have been celebrating for a week now). Uncle Jimmy took some great pictures for us in Atlanta, so when I get them, I'll post them.
Here is our "wild man" going down the slide at his party. Deep South Cheer had four blow up machines...some to jump on, climb on, climb through, and slide down. What a blast he had!! David said Bryant looked as though he was on speed! I could barely get him still to blow out his candles!! It was crazy!

The mother of all "after parties......"

I got back from Mexico the other day and wanted to share with anyone who frequents this site about some of what God has done and is doing in this part of the world(Hidalgo, Mexico).

Over 400 people came to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God was at work amongst these people and is blessing the efforts of Pastor Geronimo and his church as they spread the gospel to their neighbors. God did not need us to reach these people, but I am still in awe that he allows us to rejoice and be a part of His plan to reach all peoples and all nations.

Guys, God is real and He is alive. Don't forget it. It is sad that we have to go across the world to see it, but I have seen him at work and I will never be the same. I don't want to be the same, and neither should anyone who knows Jesus as Lord. He wants to transform us into "new creations" that leave the old ways behind. It begins with a simple a prayer "Give us eyes to see and ears to hear", God is at work all around we just need to ask the Holy Spirit to show us.

So what about this after party? Well I heard a sermon on the way home by Louis Giglio and he was talking about the party that will happen in heaven when Jesus returns and we all are celebrating with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that we may have shared with or led to salvation and what a day that will be. How sad would it be to not have someone to celebrate with? God Bless.

Guess who's home???

This was the SECOND hug....Mary Grace couldn't quite get there as fast as Bubba did. Check out the Cars pinata in the background...David bought that for Bryant in Tampico, Mexico...we'll be stuffing it with lots and lots of candy I'm sure. I hope to make it last for his birthday party next Friday. And don't worry....I got my hug!! (last but not least!)
This was the FIRST hug....they both ran as fast as they could to grab each other. People stopped to stare and some even teared up as they witnessed this precious reunion of two boys who love each other so deeply it hurts. They are definately two peas in a pod ~ same personality, same walk, same sense of humor...you name it, they are so much alike it is scary!

David said the trip was unbelievable and over 400 people were saved in their village! He had many funny stories to tell...one of a man who waited ALL day in the wrong line (medical instead of dental) and finally went to see David. He wanted only one tooth fixed and it was the end of the day. The joke was that within 20 minutes the guy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior AND got almost EVERY tooth taken out of his mouth! (most were rotten) Everyone around David was totally amazed at how fast his life changed...found eternal life and went home with NO teeth!!!

One more Night

Daddy comes home tomorrow...YEAH!!!! We are ALL so ready for him to be home. He has been gone since last Saturday on a medical/dental Mission trip to Mexico. I will post some pics of his arrival in the airport. I can only imagine the excitement my children!! (and myself) He has just been gone so much lately (almost 3 weeks to be exact) and we are really ready to have him home! I don't know who all reads this blog...but I want to give a shout out to my very precious friends and neighbors who have called, offered help, and most of all have prayed! I feel so blessed to have you all in my life and I praise God for ya'll. The texts and emails have also been so uplifting! I love you all!

School Pics

We are so blessed to be able to send Bryant to Pinelake Christian School. We have been so pleased this year and he has really blossomed. Here are some pics from the Valentine's Party and his field trip to Mazzio's Pizza.

180 Weekend

WOW...is really all I can think of when I think of this weekend....the energy, the giggles, the FOOD (I had no idea 6th grade girls ate sooooo much), the sodas, the boy crazy, the makeup(yes, they wear lots & lots of it!), the lost items, .....I could go on and one.....but with all of that out of the way, it was a great time! Pinelake families hosts junior high and high school kids for a weekend full of Jesus & Fun called 180 weekend. They arrive Friday night @ 7pm, with a leader may I add, and leave for most of the day on Saturday for worship, lunch, and service projects. They came back 'home' mid afternoon to "rest" up (ha, ha...no resting here) and to shower. Dinner and a concert in the worship center awaited them Saturday night. They left us this morning around 7:30am for the 8 o'clock service. It was an extemely busy weekend, with 3 kids parties to attend, taking Daddy to the airport , and attending Junior Miss for our babysitter, Kelly. (who by the way looked beautiful and is a winner in our book!) Anyway, we survived and we had a blast doing it! It made it all worth while when little Christina, a 6th grader, said, "I like coming to your house...no one yells here!" So sad....but I just pray they experienced Jesus this weekend and were blessed because we were!
David has headed off again....this time to Mexico for a mission trip. God gave me some precious words as he was leaving...Psalm 63...."I will hold you up with my right hand." I am praying that this week as I tackle single parenting. Please pray for safe travel for him and his team. Also, that the hearts of the Hidalgo village people will be tender to the word of God.
