Normal

What is normal?
Have you ever thought about that?
Has the rug ever been pulled from beneath you and all you craved was "normal"?
I've been thinking lately about 'normal'....about what God's will for our life is with 'normal'.
We are but sojourners on this earth, we are not to be too comfortable, we are Heaven Bound.....yet we crave 'normal life'?
Normal Life to me is my family~ under one roof,  pitter patter upstairs, laughter all around me. That is what I crave more than anything....not a fancy car, not a big house, not a fabulous vacation, or even a shopping spree.  I crave my family!
I am so thankful that we are now under one roof!  Even though not every day is sunshine in the Seago house.  We are a family and we will put one foot in front of the other and face each day as warriors for Christ.

We have yet to have "normal" in our house since Ike. Life for the residents of UTMB has been crazy; essentially living as two families with residents dispersed for training. I long for "normal" as well. I am not sure how people handle chaos without a constant Christ in their lives...

We are still praying for y'all...I will add "normal" to the list :)

Stacy AND Kevin...keep up the good fight, sweet friends. God is shining in and through you as you face these trials. And those of us who love you pray for you unceasingly. We pray you will be back on that mountaintop and look upon God's faithfulness during this season in the valley with wonder!

What a gift that you have time as a family together. As you have said God's grace is sufficient for all. His grace is going to carry you through this too.

Stacey-
Sammy found your blog for me. I honestly want to bite your kids, they are adorable. I am so happy you are having another! We are going to be in Oxford next year for the Ole Miss/Alabama game. I would love to see you!
