I'm so proud of this little guy and I'd thought I'd share his story. As many of you know, he has had trouble with his speech for a while and has just began speech therapy at PCS. (4 weeks now) He has never been able to say words like: cricket, look, light, or grace. Last week for the 1st time EVER he said..."Mom, I can say my sister's name now. MARY GRACE!" I teared up and thought....I'm so proud of him, but sad b/c I loved the way he always said her name, for 2 1/2 years now ~ Mary Race! He looked at her in the car on Monday and told her that now that he can say her name, it's time she calls him by HIS name, and it's not "Bubba", it's "Bryant". I love it! My girls called Logan "Bubba" for years. I remember being a little sad when they called him by his real name too! And now they call Tag "Bubba"...hilarious. I wish we were closer so I could give those kids a big squeeze!
I too think that talking is so precious.....but so proud of him. I know he feels so proud!
Andrew call Thomas- "T" and Austin "Au Au".... I am not racing to have that end.....

Oh Stacy- that is absolutely priceless!!! Soooo sweet- our precious children are continually making little memories for us each day and sometimes we dont even slow down to realize it-time just goes by so fast! Love, Jamye McAtee
That is so sweet! It made me think about that time that you told us "Amazing Grace" was on the radio in the car and he told Mary Grace that they were singing about her on the radio! PRECIOUS!!!
Thanks for giving us a sweet look into your mother-heart today. I love their little voices no matter what they say or how they say it! I wish we still lived down the street.
