Bryant's first day of K4

Here we are~~Bryant's first day of K4 at Pinelake Christian School. We were able to get the play by play via photos thanks to Nea Nea....it was pretty funny. Bryant is definately my timid child, until he gets warmed up and feels comfortable. I have begun praying that God gives him confidence and bravery. He is such a precious child with the most precious voice. I feel so blessed to be called his mother.

Here we are at his door...Mrs. Sandy comes out to meet us. Notice the head down....a little timid at this moment! No real sure about things~but I am hopeful that he will go in and find his cubby and find a familiar face.

Precious hug from my precious son....all is going okay up until this point, but I think he didn't want to let go once he got a hold !
Can you see the leg grip??? He almost pulled my shorts down! He wasn't about to go into that room until I dragged him in. I had to literally pull him to his cubby and "talk" to him....This is when I had to break it down for him~ Be a BIG BOY and go find a table to play! (And I may have promised him a little treat for lunch) Well, he found a table (where no one else was!) and began putting a puzzle together. WHEW......that wore me out! He did it...unwillingly at first, but he was fine. When David called to check on how things went...he said, "Man, he is So My Child!"
He came out to my car at carpool with a huge grin on his face. Mrs. Sandy let him in and said how wonderful he was! When I asked about his day, he said "Good". Then after much prying, he told me the important stuff like what he played on the playground, seeing Mary Bratton & Ethan, and singing Hokey Pokey at Music. Oh, and that he got a sucker b/c he was "SO SWEET"!

That little boy, wow, do I love him!!!

Love the sweet pictures. He is so big now!

Makes me nervous about Austin's first day of first grade in two weeks. I am not ready to let him go!

By the way....you are still the MOST photogenic person I have ever met. Always look stunning- even in a visor!

Hugs to all!

I love those pictures. The one of him hugging you is priceless! It makes me want to cry just thinking about Raylin going to school. I am really starting to get worried about leaving her at Mother's Morning Out!

Great pictures! How fun to have every moment documented.
I have to tell you, when Olivia saw your photo she said "Why does she have running clothes on?" I said, "because she runs, too, remember?" She said "OH YEAH! That is SO COOL!"

You go girl! :) Hug that big boy for us!

it was really funny and really sweet to be able to see all of this. sweet boy. All that I could get out of Mary Bratton is that she saw Bryant on the playground.

I am in tears reading this posting. I am realizing just how fast they grow up, and all the little steps of letting them go along the way.

Well, we all know things will be different when MG goes to school, so enjoy sweet lovin' while you can.

Too cute! Sometimes I wish Mary Ella would show some sort of separation anxiety. She doesn't even look back although I secretly wish she would. I have a feeling Addy Scott will be a little more resistant.

Such sweet memories.

That pic of him hugging you bye made me almost cry...I think I would have been so tempted to pick him up and run out the school telling him he didn't have to grow up today...lol. You are one strong mommy.
