To God be the Glory

No picture today, just wanted to post about my man and how special he is! I am so proud of David for striving to be the man God wants him to be. He was humbled and honored last night with being selected as a Deacon. This comes as a huge blessing in his life, not only to serve our Lord and Savior, but also to serve our precious church family. For my friends from TX you can check it out at www.pinelake.org . We prayed for many years while in Galveston about finding a church home, because as many of you know we had been longing for that for soooooo long in Galveston, after Pete left First Baptist. God brought us to this area where we live (in Brandon) which just happens to be about 4 miles from our church. What a blessing it has been to us and our children. We both dove in and got involved, which I know doesn't surprise many of you, but we have made some very precious friendships and have been able to serve in a place where God is so ever present! Wow is he present!!! So back to David....I am so proud of him and can't wait to see how God uses him. We still have a desire to do foreign missions, but God will open those doors when he is ready. For now, we just are in awe of his works in our lives. We love you all!
