This is me and my sweet friend Mary Katherine at the Pinelake Baptism. I was so blessed to have shared this special event with her. There were 83 people total and 10 ministers!
Dr. Rick Psonak, Kelly's dad, baptized me in the Reservoir. I was sooooo sick, and soooo afraid I was going to throw up on him! For those of you wondering, yes, I was baptized as a child, but I don't have many memories of it. My life following my baptism as a young child did not model one of a new life in Christ. I praise God for his grace during my teenage years!
I have been humbled at Pinelake with some leadership opportunities this year and I wanted to make sure my order was right....baptism and living a life totally sold out for Christ. This was totally an obedience thing for me and it was awesome! God is so faithful!
