Mary Grace stood today..on her own...for the very first time!! She has been pulling up for a couple of weeks now, but today, at the library during Mother Goose, she decided she couldn't see over all those other kids (she's only in the 5th % on height), so she just stood up WITHOUT holding on to me or anything else! She is such a gift from heaven and always so happy. Everywhere we go, she raises her arm and gives this huge wave...like she'l in a parade! Needless to say, she draws attention wherever she is. Today at the library, someone whom I've never met came up to me and said you have got to be David Seago's wife. I told her I was and she said and I quote.."I've never seen a child look just like their daddy in all my life!!" I just laughed and said yes, this is Mary Grace and pointed out Bryant who was already seated working on his art project. The girl was Claire Vickery and she went to high school with David.
We are really enjoying this time before school starts. Bryant still has until after Labor Day. I feel soooo blessed to be able to be with them all the time and I am treasuring every moment before he starts K3 at Pinelake Christian School (MWF). He wears a uniform next year! I love being a Mommy!
The shots have begun, for those of you who are wondering. It takes three of us to hold him down, but once he is "stabbed" with the shot, there are no more tears. And I mean stabbed, they do it so fast, if you blink you will miss the whole process. It is just the anticipation! He always looks forward to the library after the shots are over.....thank the good Lord for Mother Goose!!!
